Bryan Heyward is a native of Dayton, Ohio who graduated from Carroll High School in 1995. Upon completion of high school, he received a football scholarship to Western Kentucky University where he played for legendary Head Coach Jack Harbaugh (father of Jim and John Harbaugh, head coaches in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens). While at Western Kentucky University, Bryan was a four year starter, team captain, and All-American Award recipient.  Bryan graduated From WKU in the spring of 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration.

In 2006, Bryan opened an American Family Insurance agency, as a scratch agent (zero policies and zero clients). He quickly became one of the country’s best agents for American Family with over 2500 clients and 2 million dollars of written insurance premiums. After accomplishing everything he could as an American Family agent, Bryan decided to cancel his franchise agreement with American Family and go into business for himself in January of 2013, forming the Heyward Group, LLC Insurance Company. The Heyward Group is an independent insurance brokerage agency that has access to over 150 insurance companies. This allows his clients many options for their insurance needs.
